A few weeks ago I posted a photo of my lonely postbox (link opens in new window) which generated a bit of interest!!! 🙂

I  thought I’d keep you updated, as spring has bought with it some well-deserved company for our postbox!!! This was taken about a week ago & what is crazy is that now you can not even tell that there is a postbox!!! Postbox not so lonely anymore!!! 😀 **

Welcome summer!!! 🙂 **

    It’s interesting how the changing seasons influence photography. In England it’s Autumn and berries are coming on some plants and things will begin to change from green to reds and browns. I looked at 600 photographs that I’ve shared on Facebook earlier and not only has my photography improved from last year, the photographs from last weinter are so different from the summer ones. I had a lot of reds and browns in winter and of course the ones of everything covered in snow were popular. It is strange to think you’ll be taking summer pictures and I start to take winter pictures!

      Hi Mike!!! I agree, seasons change moods & the way in which you capture similar objects… quite amazing actually!!! It’s great that you can see such an improvement in your photography skills (&that only after a year!!) – – – I can only hope that if I look back in a years time, that I might say the same!!! 🙂 **

    This is so awesome! The colors are so vivid! When I saw the title “Welcome Summer” I was like it’s fall actually…and then I saw that you were in Africa :). Such a beautiful country! I want to travel there someday.

      Teeeeeheeeee!!! Yes, one forgets sometimes that not everyone is experiencing the same season!!! You should visit here, because you’re correct in saying that it is a beautiful country!! 🙂 ** Thank you for the friendly words!! 😉 **

    Hey Xandre, nice to see someone else preparing for summer (I’m in Australia)! Its already started to warm-up here and soon I’ll be off to the beach for those early morning swims. I guess the only thing I don’t love about summer is that you have to get up so early for sunrise photo’s! The only saving grace is that daylight saving with start soon so it won’t seem quite so early.

    And, I’m liking your new watermark 🙂

      Aaaaahhh!!! I sometimes wish we could be close to the beach!!! But oh well!!! In South Africa we don’t have daylight savings!!! Everything stays the same!!!! 🙂
      Watermark = many thanks!!! I think I’m quite happy now!!! 🙂 **

    Hi Xandreverdes:

    The green in this picture is so mesmerizing. I can’t take enough of it. You captured a magic piece of reality. I love this picture. I really do. Oh, and the black and white one before this one was also beyond words.

    Thank you,
