Butterfly (please don’t) fly away…

In one of my first posts I shared a Close Encounter (link opens to post) that me & He-who-thinks-he’s-boss had with a beautiful butterfly!! The fact of the matter is that I took a few photos of the butterfly that day, but posted only – – – my favourite photograph – – –  Tonight I decided today to share three more with you!!!

Now you’ve seen all decent photographs (& all angles) that I have of this rare encounter!! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!! 😀 **

These are really good. They are much better than my butterfly photographs. I followed my butterfly around the garden and took a few shots but only one was even reasonable. I did get a good one of a bee on a poppy though! Some butterflies like this one have striking patterns and some like the one I photographed are camouflaged; but I like a challenge! 🙂

    Awesome!

I have done my share of butterfly chasing with my camera this summer, so I know they are rather tricky to capture. Last week I watched a big Red Admiral that had no patience modelling for me. 🙂

It is amazing how many good pictures you got of this butterfly! Mostly, just the moment you try to get it on camera, it flies away. Well Done 🙂

I think the butterfly may have been injured?? Because this rarely happens that anyone can get even one decent shot of a butterfly…. let alone one from almost every angle!!! Or I was just very very lucky!!! 🙂 (which is the option I’m going with!!) 😀 **
