Xandre! Never seen so many bicycles in my life! We haven’t visited the Netherlands – even though we are so close! We keep saying that we should go, but always end up going further south with a guarantee of some sun and blue sky! Living in the UK we need to find some sun sometime during the year! Otherwise we forget what it looks like! Interesting shot – like it!

I really recommend Netherlands… I will be posting more photos of the Netherlands (of course😉 )… It’s so funny… everyone keeps saying the UK almost never has sun… I’ve visited the UK three times already (for different amounts of time) – – – & had the best weather!!! Ironic.. because I love miserable weather😀 … You will be seeing my gorgeous UK weather in upcoming photographs as well!!!🙂 **

Love your photos – especially the black and white ones. You have a good eye and a lot of talent. My writing is probably – no definitely – better than my pictures, but I plan to work on that as well. Any tips or advice on a professional camera?

Hi Renee!! Thank you so much for popping in!! (&for the wonderful compliment!!!)… I don’t know about pro cameras… but I shoot with an entry level canon (Canon 500d), but I love it… it more than fulfills my needs – – – for my level of skill I can’t seem to need anything more!!! Its a wonderful camera!!! But then again – I’ve never photographed with anything else (except normal digital cameras!). I personally tink all these cameras are similar (ito canon and nikon)… Hope you find something that you are comfortable with!!! You cant go wrong either way!!🙂 **

I really want to go to the Netherlands and see the way they use the bikes there. Here in the U.S. all of our towns are built so spread out that using bikes as transportation isn’t practical. Unless you live a large city with progressive public transportation, you have to have a car.

Here in South Africa we have the same problem!!! (I think that’s why I admired the system in Netherland so!!) …. We do not have a great public transport system & all our cities is spaced a fair distance from each other!!! If you don’t have a car here…. you’re stuck!!!🙂 **
