Tilt-shift… Take 1!

Sharing a few of my first tilt-shift photos!! I got quite a few spots in mind that I would like to go and take photographs from – so still lots more experimenting to do!!😀

Can you see a difference between this one and the original??

Ok, so it is obvious I still have to figure this out – but this is just the beginning… Still lots to learn & discover, what works, what doesn’t, processing etc. etc.

Practise makes perfect!!😀 **

I’ve done a little reading about it, but haven’t tried it, I gather it is hard, but great to see you doing it. You sound a little disappointed, but I am sure once you get the technique down, it will become really clear what type of images you need to do it. I have no idea, but I like what I’m seeing so far. 🙂

I was playing around with the new photoshop the other day and it now has a tilt shift blur filter. I haven’t played with it.
I think it really depends on the images. I did read that you have to be looking down, but that is all I know and I am sure you know that as well.Good luck, I am looking forward to seeing what you do.🙂

Hahahaha…. Thanks a lot!! I do everything post-processed!!! I posted the tutorial that I used on my facebook page – check it out if you want to join in the fun!!! It is quite an interesting (&pretty tricky) process…. I still have a long way to go, not quite getting the results I’m looking for!!!🙂 **

love the last three, they have that miniature look the best to me. So, are you using post processing to get the tilt-shift or are you using some other technique?

I discovered a site that does the post processing for you…tiltshiftmaker.com I just opted for the free versions, but even with that I was able to change quite a few things, it’s so much fun! Thanks for getting me into it!😀 I want to miniaturize EVERYTHING!

Thanks Grant!! I don’t use a tilt shift lens… I dcreate this in post-processing!!! Maybe one day, when I own something else than the standard kit lens I’ll be able to explore the endless possibilities that photography has to offer!! until then…. thanks for stopping by!!🙂 **
