A Simple Choice…

Today I went to visit my little brother at our home home (house we grew up in 😉 )… I wanted to get (maybe) a few photos for my tilt-shift project, but while I had my camera with me, I took a few “extra” shots as well!!! 🙂

While editing a few, one of them left me indecisive – I couldn’t decide which I like better: Colour or B/W?? Maybe you can help me out…

I am leaning a bit more to the B/W – I like the textures & I think this would look great on a canvas… 😛

But I’m a colour girl – I just love the colour!! 🙂 **

Series: Approaching the Toll!!!

I feel super guilty because I have still not processed my pictures of my eventful weekend (if I have to be even more honest – I have not even downloaded them from my camera 😦 )! I want to promise that I’ll do them asap, but I know I can’t do that, seeing that an equally eventful weekend lies ahead!!! Oh well, just more stories & photos to share when I do eventually get around to them!!! So please….. hold your thumbs that it will be sooner rather than later!!! 😉

In the meantime, I do have a story to share!!! I quickly downloaded the photos from my little snapper (if you can recall I got this for my birthday a few weeks ago)!!! I (over)processed three of these photos, but with good reason… I have seen many of these types of photos & loved every one of them – don’t ask me why, I think it just looks cool!!!! 😀

Last night I had a quick opportunity to take a few of these while approaching a toll gate on the N4 highway!!! This was then obviously taken last night at around 22h40… as I’ve mentioned – things have been crazy hectic lately!!! 😦

Let me know what you think!!!! Do you also have a childish fascination with these photos?? 🙂 **

Cotton-ball tree!!!

When I shot this picture, my camera was set to monochrome… But, little did I realize that my camera was set to RAW setting!!! When I downloaded the pictures onto my computer I found that it was in colour (I am not quite sure about RAW yet… also not the possibilities that RAW presents), but I must say that I ended up having fun with it! I decided to post both my colour and black and white photo to get some feedback…

I call it a cotton-ball tree – – – but it is indeed not a cotton-ball tree!!! It is little bunches of white flowers that looks (to me) like cotton-balls in a tree!!! If I could, I would share more info on the type of tree etc. But I don’t have the knowledge… & that is not what my blog is about… so back to the pics:

- - - My B/W attempt!!! Any suggestions??? - - -

- - - My colour attempt!!! I definitely am a colour!!! - - -

Which do you prefer?? Any suggestions or advice (even criticism) welcome!! 😀 **
